BIO

Heather Harvey is most inspired in her role as a family nurse practitioner when she is building relationships with patients and helping them improve their health.

While working as a registered nurse at a hospice, she realized that she wanted more. Becoming a nurse practitioner gives her a stronger role and she can concentrate on her patients’ wellness journey. Heather excels in collaborative care, working with a team of medical professionals, social workers, counselors and specialists to effectively treat patients and help them manage their chronic conditions.

Heather’s personal interests include U.S. history and military history. She grew up in a military family where she traveled all over the world, most notably the Philippines where her mother is from and loves hearing her patients’ own personal military stories. When it comes to staying healthy, Heather suggests finding something that you enjoy doing that makes you happy and lowers your stress. For her, traveling and spending time with her family and dogs are her keys to health. Heather also advocates for exercise and, as a former college basketball player, she hopes that her two children will grow to learn and love sports, too.

Highly educated and experienced in her field, Heather joins P3 Health Partners with an extensive background in hospice, palliative and coordinated care. She holds a Master of Science in nursing, family nurse practice from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma – both degrees she received with honors, and is a former member of the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Nevada State College and Bachelor of Arts degree in U.S. history from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
