BIO

When friends describe Diana Kirby, they use words like caring, dependable, kind and hilarious – attributes she brings to her role as a family nurse practitioner with P3 Medical Group. Unwavering in her commitment to making time to really listen to her patients and building relationships based on mutual trust, Diana is committed to treating her patient as she (or a family member) would want to be treated.

The youngest of 12 children, Diana was raised on a farm and enjoys telling people she knows how to milk a cow. As a child, she loved to read and knew she had a future in nursing after reading the Nurse Cherry Ames mystery books.

In her free time, Diana still curls up with a good book and her six-pound chihuahua, Lola, and also enjoys a good Netflix binge or listening to her favorite musical artists. Diana can’t get enough of her five-year-old grandson and loves spending time with her grown children and husband. She’s a big fan of movies and dining out, but prefers her deserts homemade and enjoys baking cookies, cakes and pies.

With 16 years as a family nurse practitioner, Diana comes to P3 Medical Group from Marathon Health Services in Las Vegas. Throughout her career as a registered nurse, she held numerous nursing staff and management positions. In addition, Diana was a nursing instructor with the University of Nebraska Medical Center School of Nursing and Marymount University in Virginia.

Diana holds a family nurse practitioner post-master certificate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She received her Master of Science in nursing and Bachelor of Science in nursing from South Dakota State University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau – International Honor Society of Nursing; the American Nurses Association and the Nevada State Nurses Association. Active in the community, Diana has been recognized by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society for Outstanding Service and Commitment.
