About
Vance Hale, NP, brings a wide range of healthcare experience to his role as a nurse practitioner, with a background that includes nursing leadership, critical care, surgery and recovery, pain management, and long-term care. After earning his master’s degree in nursing education, he decided to continue his education and become a nurse practitioner so he could take a more active role in treating patients and helping them manage disease and pain.
For Vance, the most rewarding part of healthcare is building meaningful relationships with his patients. He believes patients should be treated like family and takes the time to listen to their stories, understand their needs, and support them throughout their health journey. He sees the clinician-patient relationship as a partnership built on honesty, respect, and shared decisions—not simply telling patients what to do.
Vance has a particular interest in diabetes management and helping patients improve glycemic control, as well as medication management and pain management. His diverse clinical background has included roles as a nursing home administrator and director of nursing, ICU manager, and experience in pre-operative care, surgery, recovery, cardiac critical care, and pain management.
Before beginning his career in healthcare, Vance’s first job was serving in the Army. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hiking, college football, ’80s music, old movies and westerns. Friends describe him as caring, funny, and dependable. His advice for staying healthy is simple: stay active, eat well, maintain a positive attitude, and make the most of every day.
